In memoriam…
On December 23, Mrs Marcellina Gusmeroli, mother of Fr Giacomo Spini SCJ, of the community of Lissone (Vicariate of Italy) peacefully passed away at the age of 96, in Morbegno (Sondrio - Italy).
90 years of the Betharramite presence at Colico
Sunday 9 December - The religious and the laity of the Italian Vicariate met at Colico (Como) to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the presence of the Congregation of the Sacred Heart of Jesus of Betharram at the seminary of “Santa Teresa del Bambino Gesù”, which would then become the “Collegio del Sacro Cuore”.

Father Joseph DOMECQ scj has just been called by the Lord. He died this morning at Pau hospital. He was 82 years of age and 55 of ordination.

At the dawn of the Feast of All Saints, brother Jean-Pierre Nécol SCJ (of the community of "Maisoin Neuve" of Betharram) joined the Betharramites in Heaven. He was 88 years of age and 71 years of religious life.

The canonical visit of the Superior General, Fr. Gustavo, to the Vicariate of the Ivory Coast has just ended.
R.I.P.
Today, 13 October, in the afternoon, Fr Ermanno Rasero scj, has died due to a cardiac arrest. He has joined the Betharramites in Heaven. Because of his poor health, he has spent the last years of his life in a nursing home, at Solbiate (Como), with two Betharramite religious.
Vicariate Assembly at the end of the canonical visit
On Thursday 4 and Friday 5 October, the Vicariate of the Ivory Coast held a meeting at the end of the canonical visit of the Superior General, Fr. Gustavo Agín SCJ.
