Visit of the new Bishop of Chiang Rai to Ban Pong community
On Sunday 14 October, the Betharramite community and the "Holy Family Center" welcomed Mgr. Joseph Vuthilert Haelom, the first bishop of the new Diocese of Chiang Rai.
Mgr. Vuthilert visited the community on the occasion of the opening of the one week long catechesis camp organized for children and youth. The theme chosen is "Follow me”. All the participants joyfully welcomed the Bishop along with Fr. John Chan Kunu scj, Regional Vicar in Thailand.
