The month of July was a blessed and joyful month especially as Rev.Fr. Biju Antony Panthalookaran SCJ was installed on 24-07-2015 as the Novice Master of the Regional Novitiate by Rev.Fr. Fr. Austin HUGHES SCJ- Regional Superior in the presence of Rev. Fr. Biju Paul SCJ- Vicar Superior of India.

Betharram and “Jesus Youth”
August 31 - Fr. Wilfred has been privileged to be part of the Jesus Youth Exposure program held at Menzenschwand, Germany on July 31st to August 7th.
Great celebrations in honor of St. Mary of Jesus Crucified and St. Mary Alphonsine Ghattas
August 26 (feast of St. Mary of Jesus Crucified) in the front yard of our house in Bethlehem, a Thanksgiving Mass was celebrated in honor of the two Saints canonized last May by Pope Francis, namely St. Mary of Jesus Crucified and St. Mary Alphonsine Ghattas.

Visit of the Superior General to the communities of the Vicariate of Brazil
Since August 6, the Superior General, Fr Gaspar Fernández Pérez SCJ, has been making the canonical visit in the communities of the Vicariate of Brazil.

From August 3 to 13 some young people from the Betharramite parish of Montemurlo, guided by Fr Simone Panzeri SCJ, walked the last bit of the "road to Santiago".
Joyful community celebrations
On August 5, Br.Vipin Joseph and Br.Jestin James received the Ministry f Acolyte; Br. Reegan and Br. Shamon received the Ministry of Reader by Rev.Fr. Austin Hughes scj, Regional Superior. This event was a real blessing for our community.
A time to celebrate and a time to say farewell
We have received this pieces of news from the Mangalore Community. It was indeed a joyous and sad moment for our community on 22nd of July, as we gave farewell to Fr. Biju Antony SCJ who served the community for eight years. The Thanksgiving Day was made meaningful as Fr. Biju Antony presided over the Eucharist along with other fathers.

July 28 - As per tradition, on the occasion of the Feast of Our Lady of Betharram, meaningful anniversaries of the religious were celebrated.

Like every year, from 26 July to 20 August, the traditional missionary exhibition, organized by "A.MI.CI of Betharram" Association will be held in Bormio (Italy).
Weekend of the Fraternity "Me Voici" at Betharram
The weekend of the Fraternity "Me Voici" started Saturday, July 25 with a Mass presided by Fr. Tobia Sosio SCJ, who, the previous week, had guided the spiritual exercises of the religious of the Vicariate.
