On May 4, Mrs. Françoise Landel, sister-in-law of Mgr. Vincent Landel SCJ, Bishop Emeritus of Rabat (Morocco), of the community of Pibrac (Vicariate of France-Spain) died.

11 June - Fr Gustavo and Fr Enrico, accompanied by Fr Chan and Br Pichet, left Chiang Mai for a three-day trip that took them to visit the Betharramite communities in the Chiang Mai area.

June 18 - Fr Gustavo and Fr Enrico visited the Bishop of Chiang Rai, Mons Joseph Vhuthilert. The diocese of Chiang Rai was created recently, and the Bishop illustrated his pastoral task and the precious work done by the Betharramite community in his diocese. It was also an opportunity to thank him for accepting to ordain our two deacons on June 25 in the cathedral of Chiang Mai.

On Wednesday 28 December the religious of the Vicariate of France-Spain held an assembly to receive the Acts of the Regional Chapter.

Sunday 12 June, Fr José Rovegno SCJ has made his final "Here I am” and went back to the Lord. Fr José was 90 years of age and 72 years of religious life. He was a member of the community of “San Juan Bautista” of Buenos Aires (Vicariate of Argentina and Uruguay).

On February 6, in the General House in Rome the meeting of the formators of the Congregation ended; and on February 8, the Council of the Congregation began.
