Session of the Council on February 11th and 12th, 2017

• The Superior General, with his Council, invited three brothers to the next General Chapter: Fr. Sergio Gouarnalusse of the Vicariate of Argentina-Uruguay ; Fr. Yesudas Kuttappassery of the new community in Vietnam & Fr. Angelo Recalcati as assistant secretary.
• With the advice of his Council, he approved the Acts of the Regional Chapter of the Saint Michael Garicoits Region.
• As a reply to the request submitted by the Regional Superior of the Fr Etchecopar Region, the Superior General, with the advice of his Council, approved the acceptance of the Santa Isabel de Portugal Parish in Paso de los Toros, in the diocese of Tacuarembó-Ribera (Fr. Augusto Etchecopar Region, Vicariate of Argentina-Uruguay).
• The Superior General, with the consent of his Council, decided to present to the priesthood the Deacon Alcides Ramón Riveros Díaz (Vicariate of Paraguay, Fr. Etchécopar Region).
• The Superior General, with his Council, acknowledged that Fr Serge Braga Latta contracted a civil marriage. Hence, he does no longer belong to our Congregation (RdV 317; CDC 694,2).
