Jubilee Cross Visits Shobhana Shaakha Formation House
On May 16, 2025, the Shobhana Shaakha Formation House in Bangalore was blessed to receive the Archdiocese's Jubilee Cross. The Cross's journey began at the Cathedral of St. Francis, Bangalore, and it is being carried to all parishes and religious communities within the Archdiocese.
The sisters from the St. Joseph of Lyons community brought the Jubilee Cross to our Chapel. From 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, the Cross was venerated in our chapel. We observed this devotion with prayers including the Rosary, the Divine Mercy Chaplet, and Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament. The occasion concluded with Holy Mass.
Following this grace-filled time, we accompanied the Jubilee Cross to its next destination, the community of the Valanbrosian Fathers. This event, shared with our companions of Betharram, served as a powerful reminder that we follow Christ as pilgrims of Hope, with Gaudium et Pace (Joy and Peace).
