Preparations for the Feast of Saint Michael in the Vicariate of France-Spain
The Vicariate of France and Spain is planning to celebrate Saint Michael Garicoïts in two places:
On May 14, in Betharram, they want to celebrate it with the laity coming mainly from Pibrac, but also with the laity who are very active in serving the Shrines and the Calvary.
Fr Jean Luc Morin SCJ (Regional Superior) will preside over this first meeting.
Subsequently, on May 15, Saint Michael will be celebrated at Ibarre, in collaboration with the community of Saint-Palais and the association "Les Amis de Michel Garicoïts".
By using the French language the message of our Founder will reach a wider audience while the genius of the Basque culture will be preserved.
In both places, both Fr.Auguste Etchécopar and Fr. Erdozaincy-Etchart SCJ (missionary in China) will bear witness to the charism lived in the course of history.
