Pre-Regional Chapter of the Region Fr. August Etchecopar
San Bernardino (Paraguay) - The pre-Regional Chapter of the Fr. August Etchecopar Region took place on 4, 5 and 6 November. The laity and all the religious who wished to participate were invited to attend.
This pre-Regional Chapter was meant to be an example of synodal meeting, ”it is a time to dream and to spend time with the future" (Vademecum for the Synod on Synodality, 2021). Synodality is an experience of discernment, experienced, shared and announced. "Also today, heading towards the Regional Chapters and the General Chapter, we have the opportunity to discern many things, to see to what extent the choices, orientations and methods of our various ministries remain adapted to the Mission that the Church expects of us.” (Fr. Gustavo Agín, NEF n. 183, July 2022).
Today the Spirit urges the Betharramite family to make a synodal journey. May Our Lady of Betharram, with the Child Jesus reaching out towards us, shed light on this path.
