Assembly With Fr. Gustavo Agín SCJ
On Thursday, 20th October 2022 English Vicariate arranged a Vicariate Assembly with Fr. Gustavo Agin SCJ as part of the Canonical Visit.
In the morning Fr. Gustavo presided over the Eucharistic celebration in honour of St. Michael Garicoïts. Later in the day Fr. Gustavo gave a presentation to all the members. By addressing the positive welcome, friendship, and brotherhood in Christ that he has received since his arrival in England on 10th of October 2022. He continued in his speech the invitation to each religious to live the synodal journey by walking with the Church, to listen to each other more, and discern better for the future of our presence in England.
Fr. Wilfred expressed gratitude on behalf of the Vicariate of England to Fr. Gustavo for his presence and his inspiration during the days of canonical visit. We also assured our continual prayer for Fr. Gustavo and his council as they prepare for the upcoming General Chapter in June 2023.
In the evening we had a celebrative meal to mark the occasion of Canonical visit and give thanks to God for all the blessings of God in the past year for our communities.
