Vocation promotion in Vietnam
On January 6, the solemnity of the Epiphany of the Lord, Fr Albert Sa-at Prathansantiphong SCJ, priest-in-charge of the community of Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), shared a significant moment with the family of a student - present in our community for vocational discernment - and some parishioners.
Fr Sa-at visited the home of Joseph Nguyễn Văn Triển in the Parish of Nghi Xuân, in the Province of Đak Nông, Diocese of Buôn Mê Thuật.
The parish priest invited Fr. Sa-at to offer one Mass for the children and one for all the parishioners.
During the homily, Fr Sa-at stressed two points: first of all he invited them to offer their gifts to Jesus: gold (love), incense (faith) and myrrh (good actions). Then, he asked them to be like small stars guiding others to Jesus.
