Yesterday, February 8, we received the sad news of the death of Fr. Gilbert Koffi Kouman, a priest of the Ivory Coast, formerly a Betharramite religious. He died of cardiac arrest. He was 54 years old.
Fr Gilbert had been a member of the Congregation until 2009. At present he was parish priest, incardinated in the Diocese of Santiago del Estero, in northern Argentina. We entrust him to the Father's Mercy and to the maternal care of Our Lady of Betharram.
