Feast of St Michael Garicoïts in the world...

The feast of St Michael Garicoïts, on 14 May 2020, in spite of the lockdown due to the pandemic, was nevertheless full of ideas and initiatives.

Feast of St Michael Garicoïts in the world...

Although with limited resources, religious and lay Betharramites made a point  to organise a vibrant celebration in honour of our father and founder, Saint Michael Garicoits.

We have collected some images and videos from the internet and we want to share them with you, being aware, however, that these are only  a few of the many initiatives put in play in all areas of the world.

The first to to celebrate St. Michael were the communities of the east: Vietnam and Thailand.

We have some images from the Vicariates of England, Italy, Central African Republic, Ivory Coast, Paraguay and Argentina.

We offer you some very interesting videos:

message from the Superior General, Fr Gustavo Agín.

message from Fr Daniel González, Regional Superior of the Region Fr Augusto Etchecopar.

message from Fr Enrico Frigerio, Regional Superior of the St Myriam of Jesus Crucified Region.

message from Fr Sergio Gouarnalusse, Regional Vicar of the Vicariate of Argentina and Uruguay.

From Italy, religious and youth “Betharramici”.

 From the Ivory Coast.

 A video about St Michael

The song composed by Fr Leandro Narduzzo SCJ, Argentina.

We are confident that, in spite of being incomplete, this overview, expresses the desire to not be “locked up” in this difficult time, but to tell everyone a story of holiness that can show even today new ways on which to walk once again with enthusiasm: "Without delay, without reservations, without turning back, out of love more than for any other reason." (Saint Michael Garicoïts).
