Feast of Our Lady of Betharram in Olton
On 28th of July, we celebrated the Feast of our Lady of Betharram at the Friary in Olton. The holy mass was concelebrated at the Friary Grounds, presided over by Fr Wilfred Pereppadan SCJ, the Regional Vicar. The weather was fine. By keeping social distance the parishioners took part in the celebration.
A picnic lunch followed. Special prayers were invoked through the intercession of our Lady especially during the unprecedented times of everyone life due to the pandemic.
It was a very prayerful and joyous occasion. The feast Mass was live-streamed so that many parishioners who are shielding were enabled to take part in it by making the act of spiritual communion.
