Canonical visit of the Superior General to the Vicariate of France-Spain
Betharram, 9 July - The Vicariate of France-Spain welcomed the Superior General, Fr Gustavo Agín SCJ, who arrived in France on 4 July to begin the canonical visit to the communities of the Vicariate.
The visit started from the Pibrac community, then he moved to the "St Michel" community of Pau, where he also chaired the meeting of the economic council.
On Thursday 9 July in the afternoon he went to the "Notre-Dame" community of Betharram. Here he presided over the Vicariate Council.
The visit will continue in the communities of Saint-Palais, Anglet, Mendelu (Spain).
The Superior General will conclude the canonical visit on 27 July, with the Vicariate Assembly.
On 28 July, the solemnity of Our Lady of Betharram, he will preside over the solemn concelebration during which he will received the perpetual profession of Br. Koffi Djéban Landry scj.
