On the evening of June 28, Mrs Tilde Radaelli, sister of Fr Francesco Radaelli SCJ, Superior General Emeritus, of the Albiate (Italy) community, died.
A community celebration...
Double celebration on Friday June, 28 in the community of St Michael at Albavilla (Vicariate of Italy). In fact, in addition to the feast of the Sacred Heart, the whole community gathered around Father Enrico Mariani scj, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of his priestly ordination.

Feast of the Sacred Heart in Betharram
The feast of the Sacred Heart was celebrated in Betharram in the afternoon and evening of June 28th. First of all, Fr. Laurent Bacho scj (Regional Vicar in France and Spain), gave a talk on the virtues of the Heart of Jesus, "love, humility and meekness".
Centenary of the laying of the first stone of the church
Friday, June 28th. In a church packed with parishioners, the Betharramite community entrusted with the parish of Droitwich celebrated the solemnity of the Sacred Heart and the centenary of the laying of the first stone of the church.
Priestly Ordination of Br. Habib
On 6 July, in the Church of St. Luke of Yenadjro, in Godomey Togoudo (Bénin), Mgr. Vincent Landel scj (bishop emeritus of Rabat) ordained priest Br. Habib Yelouwassi SCJ.

Mr André Appesseche, brother-in-law of Fr. Joseph Ruspil SCJ (of the community of Saint-Palais) and Fr. Jean-Marie Ruspil SCJ (of the community of Pibrac), died on 9 July 2019 in his 84th year.

Priestly ordinations in Thailand
On June 28, in the Cathedral of the “Sacred Heart” of Chiang Mai (Thailand), two young Betharramites were ordained priests in a solemn celebration presided by the Bishop of the Diocese, Mgr Francis Xavier Vira Arpondratana: Br. Andrew Manop Kaengkhiao SCJ and Br. Stephen Banjerd Chuensuklerttaweekul SCJ, along with other deacons: one from the Diocese of Chiang Mai; two from the Jesuit Congregation and one from the Congregation of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate.
VII ELAB (Meeting of the Latin American Betharramites)
From 9 to 11 July, in the Retreat House "Sacred Heart" in San Bernardino (Paraguay), the Betharramite religious and laity of the Fr. Augusto Etchecopar Region held the VII ELAB (Meeting of the Latin American Betharramites).

Sunday, July 14, Mr Jean-Louis Caset, brother of Fr Pierre Caset scj (of the “Maison Neuve” community of Betharram), after a long illness, died in Ispoure (France), at the age of 74.
