Priestly Ordination of Br. Irán Lima da Silva SCJ
Saturday, May 5, at 18.00, in the Parish of Nuestra Señora del Buen Suceso in Pombal-Paraiba (Brazil), his hometown, our brother Irán Lima da Silva SCJ was ordained priest.
Br. Irán was ordained priest by the laying on of hands of Mgr. Francisco de Sales Alencar Batista, bishop of the Diocese of Cajazeiras.
The solemn concelebration was attended by Fr. Daniel González SCJ, Regional Superior and Fr. Paulo Cesar Pinto SCJ, Regional Vicar in Brazil along with numerous betharramite priests and many faithful.
On May 6, Fr. Irán presided over the first Holy Mass in his native place. Fr Irán is the first priest of his hometown.
We wish Fr. Irán to be a priest according to the Heart of Jesus!
