50th anniversary of priestly ordination of Fr. Alessandro Paniga scj
The nursing home in Solbiate Comasco was decorated at its best on Sunday, January 14th, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of priestly ordination of Fr. Alessandro Paniga scj, chaplain of this nursing home and Superior of the “St. Michael" Community of Albavilla.
Ordained a priest in Rome on December 17, 1967, since October 2003 he has been serving as chaplain in this extended care residence run by the Brothers of St John of God in Solbiate Comasco (Como).
Fr. Piero Trameri scj, Regional Vicar for Italy, Fr. Celeste Perlini scj, Fr. Luigi Speziale scj and Fr. Ermanno Rasero scj joined Fr Alessandro Paniga in the Eucharistic celebration. The patients of this nursing home, visited daily by Fr Alessandro Paniga, were also present at the celebration .
At the end of it, Fr. Alessandro Paniga was presented with a parchment paper containing the Apostolic blessing of Pope Francis.
