Vocation retreat organized by the Vicariate of Paraguay
From Friday 17 to Sunday 19 of November, at the Sacred Heart of Jesus' Retreat House in San Bernardino (Paraguay), where was celebrated the last General Chapter, twelve young people (nine boys and three girls) spent a weekend to discern their vocation.
The theme of the retreat was "Come and see."
This first experience will be followed by a second one addressed to those who are more determined to enter consecrated life. This second experience will be called "Come and Follow Me".
The young people were accompanied by Fr. Raul Villalba Maylin SCJ, by the youth of the FVD Group's Vocational Pastoral Team, by a couple (Cesare and Camila), by two Sisters of the Congregation of the Daughters of Mercy of the Third Order of Saint Francis (Sr. Marcelina and Sr. Sonia). Fr. Alberto Zaracho SCJ (Regional Vicar of Paraguay) and Fr. Alcides Riveros Diaz SCJ were also present. We had two days of joy and peace. Thanks to the beautiful new home and the ideal climate, we created an environment conducive to silence and reflection.
Now let us continue to pray and work to develop vocations to religious and priestly life, especially for Betharram!
