The Archdiocese of Ho Chi Minh City makes official the Betharramite presence in Vietnam
Ho Chi Minh City, January 22th, 2017 - "Forward, always!". So said St. Michael Garicoits. The small Betharramite presence in Vietnamese land was officially welcomed with the letter of the Archdiocese of Ho Chi Minh City.
On January 22, the Betharramite community and the entire congregation to thank the Lord because, in addition, he wanted his providence might give to this small community even a house to live in and in which we welcome young people for a period of vocational discernment.
In the presence of Fr Gaspar Fernández Pérez SCJ, Superior General, and Fr. Graziano Sala SCJ, Bursar and Secretary General, Fr. Thomas Trung SJ, Episcopal Vicar for Religious, blessed the new chapel and home.
The celebration was also attended by religious men and women close to the community.
A sincere thanks also goes to the many benefactors who, through their generosity, have allowed Betharram to extend a new branch in Vietnamese land.
