‘Advent Prayer Stations’ in the betharramite Parish of Olton
During advent on the last three Wednesdays 6th, 13th and 20th of December at Olton Friary parish in England, held the ‘Advent Prayer Stations’.
This was a fruitful time to stop and reflect during advent as a parish community. The Prayer stations were themed on the Blessed Virgin, St Joseph, John the Baptist and the Nativity.
Fr. George Mathew SCJ painted the Icons of the stations especially the theme of the Annunciation. The Parishioners were very appreciative which have given them an opportunity to engage, reflect and meditate on this period of expectation, waiting and preparing for the birth of Christ.
