Laity and religious together in Betharram
Betharram, July 24 - At the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Betharram, the participants of the international session, the laity of the “Fraternité Me Voici” - at the end of their annual assembly - and the many faithful flocked to Betharram, gathered together for a solemn celebration.
It was an international celebration, with songs in different languages: in Guarani (Paraguay), in Sango (Central African Republic), in Malayalam (India), in Karen (Thailand) in French (Ivory Coast).
Fr Gaspar Fernández Pérez, SCJ (Superior General) presided over the concelebration while Fr Laurent Bacho SCJ gave the homily on the beautiful commentary of the "Our Father" made by St Michael Garicoïts.
