The English Vicariate celebrated the canonisation of St Mariam Baouardy
October, 16 - At St Werburgh’s Parish, Clayton, the English Vicariate celebrated the canonisation of St Mariam Baouardy and also the year of Consecrated Life.
It was great to have members from other Vicariates at the celebrations, namely from Italy India and Thailand.
The life of Saint Mariam and the leaf let about the year of Consecrated life which was prepared by Br. Michael SCJ displayed in the church and many appreciated it.
As Parish Priest Fr Anton Madej SCJ welcomed everyone. Fr Wilfred Perepadan SCJ was the main celebrant, and Fr Austin Hughes SCJ preached on St Mariam.
