Novitiate activities
The Regional Novitiate at Bangalore enjoyed a fruitful period in the months of September and October.
The community was blessed with the solemn celebration of the Nativity of our Blessed Mother- which was preceded by nine days of Novena , a day of Pilgrimage to the Basilica of our Mother and a solemn Eucharistic Celebration Presided by Rev. Fr. Biju Antony SCJ (Novice Master).
It was a time for Renewal and Blessing as our second year brothers had been for a week of Charismatic Retreat at the Divine Retreat Centre at Kerala and concluded their canonical year on the feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross.
A special Taizé prayer service focusing on the Holy Cross was conducted by the first year Novices. Thanking God for all his blessings, we also celebrated the Onam Festival (Harvest Feast of the People of Kerala) praying for the well being of the people and the state.
