Great celebrations in honor of St. Mary of Jesus Crucified and St. Mary Alphonsine Ghattas
August 26 (feast of St. Mary of Jesus Crucified) in the front yard of our house in Bethlehem, a Thanksgiving Mass was celebrated in honor of the two Saints canonized last May by Pope Francis, namely St. Mary of Jesus Crucified and St. Mary Alphonsine Ghattas.
His Beatitude Msgr. Fouad Twal, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, presided the Eucharistic Celebration. The Auxiliary Bishops of the Latin Patriarchate and numerous priests, among them the Fathers of the Bethlehem community joined in the celebration. The Betharramite Novices along with a large crowd of faithful attended the solemn celebration.
