The Mangalore Community in feast
August, 2nd - The past week of the Mangalore Community was indeed a colorful and eventful one. On July 28 they celebrated the Feast of Our Lady of Betharram and of St. Alphonsa, the first Indian saint.
On 21st of July, they celebrated the birthday of Fr. George Antony and a group of ladies from Lady's Club of Mangalore paid a visit to the Children Care Home: they cheered the kids with their gifts and their very presence.
As part of Novena in the local parish feast, 1st of August was dedicated to all the Religious communities in the parish and Betharram community actively participated in the Holy Eucharist in St. Lawrence church, Bondel, by sharing their joy with Fr. Andrew (Parish Priest) and the parishioners.
