Pre-Regional chapter with the religious and the laity
Monday, July 14 – The Betharramite Religious and Laity of the Fr Etchecopar Region, began their Assembly to prepare the Second Regional Chapter which will be held on July 17-20.
The topic of this meeting: "Keep alive the joy of the celebration of the Jubilee Year in honour of St. Michael Garicoïts, and live our charism, inspired by "Evangelii Gaudium" and by the messages and gestures of Pope Francis”.
The meeting began with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, presided by Fr Javier Irala, Regional Vicar for Paraguay, and concelebrated by 20 priests from throughout the Region, by the Regional Superior, Fr Gustavo Agin, and by the Superior General, Fr Gaspar Fernandez Perez.
After Mass, the group gathered around the table for a fellowship meal, offered by the Vicariate of Paraguay and enlivened with live music.
