Br Raul Villalba Maylin’s diaconal ordination
Saturday, July 19, during a solemn Eucharistic celebration, started at 10:30 am in the Church of San José in Asunción, Br Raul Villalba Maylin was ordained a deacon. The celebration was presided by Archbishop Claudio Silvero SCJ, Auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese of Encarnación, surrounded by around twenty betharramite priests.
A large crowd of faithful were present to thank the Lord and share with the large betharramite family and Villalba Maylin's family this great joy for the gift of the diaconate that Raul will exercise for some time along his journey to the priesthood.
At the end of the celebration, the participants were invited to congratulate the new deacon and then to share a fraternal meal.
The Congregation and the whole Church rejoice for this event.
We wish Deacon Raul a fruitful and joyful ministry in serving his brethren in Jesus' name.
