Visit of the Regional Superior to the Dabakala community
In mid-October, during the visit of the Regional Superior, the religious leaders of the parish of Our Lady of the Poor gathered in Dabakala.
After Fr François Tohonon moved to France for a new mission, the Betharramite community is now made up of Fr Raoul Segla, Fr Elise Mambo and two newcomers: Fr Narcisse Zaolo and Br Habib, second-year novice who shares his noviciate with Br Oscar, a novice belonging to the Congregation of the Clerics of Saint Viator.
This is a positive sign of trust between congregations, in line with the style of the long-lasting cooperation with the Sisters of Providence of Peltre. They will welcome Sr. Thérèse - Michèle (Burkina Faso ), who has just got a placement at Dabakala with two Togolese sisters, Sr Monique and Sr Philomène.
To the newcomers and the "old hands", we wish a fruitful pastoral ministry ... carried out with the help of an all terrain vehicle bought thanks to the generosity of the whole Region (we express one again our gratitude to the communities who responded to our appeal).
