An eventful break

During the short break after the first semester (first week of September), the Betharram community in Bangalore arranged some events to strengthen the formation of the brothers.
A three-day-long retreat conducted by Fr. Arockia Swamy from the diocese of Bangalore.
A session on effective communication by a Salesian youth director.
Then a short session on natural meditation led by a Carmelite sister, who helped the community to have an effective meditation.
A few days later the community went on a pilgrimage walking from Shobhana Shaakha to Mary's Basilica, Shivaje Nagar. At around 11.30 am they participated in the holy mass. To end the day in style, the community celebrated the anniversary of priestly ordination of the Regional Vicar, Fr Biju Alappat.
