Vietnam - Thanh Hoa
On March 19th , the Church of Thanh Hoa celebrated with fervor his holy patron; Fr Jiraphat Raksikhao and Fr Jean-Luc Morin, who were there, wound up in this solemn way their study visit in Vietnam.
The first Betharramite candidate, Joseph Tuan, is from this diocese whose pastor, Mgr Joseph Chi Linh encouraged us to go ahead. For the Feast of St. Joseph 2011, 3 bishops, 100 priests, 200 drums, as many religious women, 500 musicians and nearly 15,000 faithful thronged outside the cathedral. The morning passed quickly with the blessing of the St Josephs statue, the procession through the streets of the neighborhood, the Eucharist with solemn ordination of nine deacons, and the festive meal at the diocesan center.
