Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh City
The first Vietnameese to knock at the door of our Congregation was welcomed as candidate on March 4th , in the prayerful atmosphere of the chapel in the diocesan centre of Thanh Hoah.
Fr Jiripaht Raksikhao came from Thailand, one hour flight away, to meet for the first time Joseph Vu Van Tuan. He will now be his person of reference. After a few words of thanksgiving and encouragement, he handed over to the young Vietnameese the cross, which was formerly blessed by Fr Jean-Luc Morin. Up to March 20th , the secretary-bursar general and the assistant superior of Ban Garicoits will visit the country to create links and probe new perspectives for the future. Let us rejoice and pray for this new shoot of hope in the Betharram family!
