Paraguay - San Joaquín
On Saturday, March 5th , the Fr Etchecopar Region, lived an unforgettable celebration in San Joaquin, Paraguay, when the Bishop of Coronel Oviedo ordained as a priest the Deacon Alberto Zaracho Barrios, born in San Joaquin.
The celebration was held in a big hall next to the parish church too small for the occasion well decked out by his Paraguayan brothers: music from the traditional Paraguayan harp and from guitars, homily in guaranì and above all a lot of excitement and joy of the people. The newly ordained priest, Fr Alberto, 30 years old, gave a warm-hearted thanksgiving speech. His placement: College of Saint Michael in Asuncion, as chaplain. We wish him a fruitful ministry in his pastoral work as betharramite missionary.
