On January 27, in the community of St. Francis of Assisi (which is part of the Parish "Our Lady of the Beautiful Branch") in Paulinia, a parish assembly was held with the participation of representatives of all communities and movements of the parish.

On August 15th , the Assumption day, the Vicariate of Brazil was in a festive mood. In the Chapel of Saint Joseph of General Carneiro, Minas Gerais, the brothers Francisco de Assis do Santos, Marcelo Rodrigues Silva and Eder Chaves Gonçalves made their perpetual profession, saying “Here I am” to Jesus and his Church for ever, as religious of Betharram.

On April 28, at 8:30 in the Church of St. Joseph the Worker in Sabará, brothers David, Eudes, Osmar, Raúl and Wagner received the ministry of acolyte.

Next Saturday, December 8, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary, three Betharramites,  Marcelo Rodrigues, Francis de Assis do Santos and  Eder Cháves Gonçalves will be ordained deacons in the parish church of Our lady of Betharram at Vila Matilde, São Paulo.

On December 8th, in the Parish "Our Lady of the Beautiful Branch" in Sao Paulo, our brothers Éder, Francisco and Marcelo were ordained as Deacons.

Friday, December 21, Fr Sebastiao do Nascimento’s brother died in Minas Gerais, Brazil. We express our heartfelt condolences to our dear father and we pray for the repose of his brother’s soul.

From 2 to 5 January, the Vicariate of Brazil organized a vocational camp in two different places: on January 2-3 at São Gotardo (in the western part of the Minas Gerais State) and on January 4-5 at Setubinha (in the northern part of the same Sate).

On the 22nd of November the Vicariate and parishioners at Olton Friary gathered around Brother Liam Finucane SCJ to celebrate his 70th Birthday and to thanks God for his 40 years as a religious brother.
