Brazil - Sabará
On August 15th , the Assumption day, the Vicariate of Brazil was in a festive mood. In the Chapel of Saint Joseph of General Carneiro, Minas Gerais, the brothers Francisco de Assis do Santos, Marcelo Rodrigues Silva and Eder Chaves Gonçalves made their perpetual profession, saying Here I am to Jesus and his Church for ever, as religious of Betharram.
The celebration was presided by Father Gustavo Agín, and concelebrated by the Fathers Gaspar Fernández Pérez, Mauro Ullrich de Oliveira, and by other religious of the region Father Augusto Etchecopar at the presence of friends and well-wishers. The atmosphere was one of a joyous celebration with dances and songs of the Brazilian tradition, and a fraternal agape. Everything was nicely and tactfully planned by the Betharramite lay people.
