Gathered usually in small communities of three or four members, the Religious of Betharram exist first and foremost to try to fulfil the ideals of a fraternal life in prayer and sharing. We are "active religious", undertaking a wide range of activities to help further the mission of the Church and the Kingdom of God.

On 15 June, invited by the Association St. Germaine, by the Diocesan leaders of the youth ministry of Toulouse and the chaplains for the public teaching of Pibrac, more than 150 young people gathered together for a pilgrimage on the occasion of the feast of St. Germaine.  The topic was "With Germaine, the joy of believing."

On June 9, a group of parishioners from the parish of St William of Castellazzo of Bollate (Milan), accompanied by Father Ennio Bianchi scj, and  a group of lay people of the Sacred Heart Parish of Montemurlo (Prato) gathered together for a moment of prayer and reflection.

On June 14-15 a conference attended by Betharramite religious and lay people engaged in service to the poor and health pastoral care was held at Albiate (Monza and Brianza).

On June 21-23 : one important event in honour of Saint Michael was celebrated in Rome, in the context of the Jubilee Year.

Today, July 1st , Mrs Nélida, the mother of Fr Gustavo Agín scj, the Regional Superior of the Region Fr Augusto Etchecopar, has gone to the Lord.

On June 29-30, the first session of a workshop on entertainment and leadership was held in San Juan Bautista of Buenos Aires, the regional house.

On Saturday 15th June an epic  Interfaith meeting took place between Cardinal Tauran from the Vatican and the Chief Guru of the Sikh Community at their Temple in Soho, Birmingham.

May 11 - In a solemn and joyful atmosphere, the Betharram Community in Thailand inaugurated the celebrations for the 150th Anniversary of Saint Michael’s death.

On June, 28th the community of Shobhana Shaakha celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Priestly Ordination of Fr. John Chan Kunu SCJ, who offered a thanksgiving Mass in the morning.
