On June 14-15 a conference attended by Betharramite religious and lay people engaged in service to the poor and health pastoral care was held at Albiate (Monza and Brianza).
The topic of the conference was the same as the Jubilee Year’s, "From the heart of Jesus to the heart of the world"; various religious, engaged in health pastoral care, took the floor: Fr Guido Pradella, Fr Alessandro Paniga, Fr Aldo Camesasca and Fr Damiano Colleoni. Fr Mario Longoni, who has been working for so many years in the care home for AIDS patients in Monteporzio, attended the conference too.
All gave a meaningful contribution: the lay people working at Monteporzio, those giving their cooperation to our missionary activity and those who support in various ways the dispensary of Niem and the “St Michael Centre” of Bouar (Central African Republic).
The conference ended with the solemn Eucharistic celebration presided over by Fr Gaspar Fernandez Perez, Superior General.
