Friday, 12 June - On the Solemnity of the Scared Heart of Jesus, the Bangalore Community celebrated the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus along with the generous benefactors, teachers, and well-wishers.

On April 27, at the age of 80 years, Mr. Angel Colina, brother of our confrere Fr Julio Colina (community of Mendelu, Vicariate of France-Spain) died in Miranda de Ebro (Burgos).

Like every year, the parish of San Mixel Garikoitz entrusted to the community Betharramite at Hondarribia went into action to celebrate Christmas.

Mendelu, May 11th. One year after the beginning of the restructuring work, the "Residencia Betharram", the new retirement home built on the land adjacent to the Betharramite community of Mendelu (Spain) is finally ready to welcome its first guests. The Congregation gave this piece of land away in order to make possible a "social project".

The Spiritual Day for the Start of the Activities of the FVD Group took place on Saturday 9 March. The meeting, held at the house of a family who generously offered their home for the purpose, was attended by more than fifty participants, a dozen children and four Betharramite religious who accompanied the group at different times of the day: Br. Víctor Torales SCJ, Fr. Sergio Leiva SCJ and Fr. Tobia Sosio SCJ, all from the San Miguel Garicoïts Community of Puente Remanso, and Br. Sixto Benítez SCJ, from the San José Community of Asunción.

From June 29 to July 5, 26 religious of the Vicariate of France and Spain came together at Betharram for their annual spiritual exercises guided by Fr Guy Sionneau, Provincial Superior of the Passionist religious of France.

The “Notre-Dame” community of Betharram welcomed from 1 July the extraordinary novitiate of the Vicariate, Bros Toussaint, Éric, Constant, Fabian along with Fr Gaspar Fernández Pérez SCJ, their Novice Master.
