The 28th of January was a day full of joy for the Vicariate of India. In fact, the Vicariate gathered around Fr. Pobitro Minj SCJ, on the day he was ordained a priest, and the first Betharramite priest hailing from Assam.

On February 4, Ms. Elizabete Ferreira Barros, passed away. She was the grandmother of Br Thiago Gordiano Sampaio SCJ, of the community of Belo Horizonte (Vicariate of Brazil).

On December 2, the traditional meeting of the Betharramite religious with the relatives of the deceased Betharramites and friends of Betharram was held in our former Apostolic school at Albavilla.

On May 23, 2024, Bishop Patrick McKinney of the Diocese of Nottingham visited our SCJ community in Nottingham to bless the new community house and present the certificate officially founding the new Betharram community house.

On June 9, the XXVIII General Chapter of the Congregation opened with a solemn Eucharistic celebration presided over by Mgr. Francis Xavier Vira Arpondratana, Bishop of the Diocese of Chang Mai.
