The Bishop of Nottingham blesses the new residence, home of the community
On May 23, 2024, Bishop Patrick McKinney of the Diocese of Nottingham visited our SCJ community in Nottingham to bless the new community house and present the certificate officially founding the new Betharram community house.
The evening's events commenced with Evening Prayer II, honoring the Feast Day of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Eternal High Priest. Following this, Bishop McKinney led a formal blessing ceremony for the community house.
The solemn occasion was graced by representatives from various other communities within the English Vicariate, who joined in the celebration and fellowship. The evening concluded with an agape meal, fostering a spirit of unity and shared joy among all present
