Towards the General Chapter 1
The capitulants
Here are the 31 religious who are to gather from May 6 to 24 in San Bernardino (Paraguay). Their task will be:
a. To watch over the doctrinal and spiritual patrimony of the Congregation, faithfully respecting the special intentions and designs of the founder as well as the living traditions of the Congregation, ratified by the authority of the Church;
b.To treat issues of great importance to the congregation and to take all measures judged useful for the well-being of the congregation;
c. To give directions;
d. To elect the Superior General and his council;
e. To fix the obligatory standards for all members of the Institute;
f. To take the required decisions regarding the financial situation;
g. To fix the ordinary contributions.
