Vicariate Assembly
On Wednesday, April 17, in our community in Lissone, the religious of the Vicariate of Italy held an Assembly. About thirty religious were present-
Fr Davide Caldirola, parish priest in a parish in the city of Milan, guided our reflection starting from the parable of the Sower.
The seed sown - as we know - has borne fruit in various ways and in different quantities.
Fr David analysed the parable in the light of our religious and priestly life: we are the sowers and the seed is the Word of God.
The soil is the multi-faceted culture of today and we are called to sow the seed with faith and steadfastness.
The fruits we gather are different, according to the soil on which the seed falls, but we are called to always take care of the fruit in order to improve it.
In the afternoon we reflected on some decisions about our community life, taken by the last General Chapter: prayer - participation - sharing - fraternity.
This long-awaited Assembly gave us the opportunity to meet again and to be updated about the life of our communities.
