SCJ Mission Sponsored Walk
Nottingham 27th September 2025. The SCJ English Vicariate recently held its annual sponsored walk in support of the SCJ Mission, generously hosted this year by the Nottingham community on 27th September.
Around 20 participants from various communities—including Olton, Droitwich, and Nottingham—came together for this special event. SCJ members, parishioners, and companions united in spirit and solidarity to make the journey a meaningful one.
We began our walk at St. Patrick’s Church, Meadows, and enjoyed a scenic 10-mile route. Along the way, we passed the Nottingham Forest Football Stadium, which was buzzing with preparations for the evening's match between Nottingham and Sunderland. Walking alongside the canal, we shared moments of reflection, laughter, and community.
After the walk, the Nottingham community warmly welcomed everyone with refreshments at the church hall—a perfect ending to a wonderful day.
All funds raised will go towards supporting the SCJ Mission.
