Regional Council of the “St. Michael Garicoïts” Region in Betharram
From Monday 29 April to Friday 4 May the third Regional Council of the St. Michael Garicoïts Region was held at the Betharram mother house.
After the visit of Fr Simone Panzeri SCJ, Regional Superior, to all the communities of the Region, this Council was able to share, with more knowledge, the various situations of the Region.
Thanks to the presence of all the Regional Vicars and the Regional Bursar, all aspects of community and missionary life were taken into consideration.
On Monday 29 April the Council also had the opportunity to share the reflection with the Superior General, Fr Gustavo Agín SCJ, and the Vicar General, Fr Jean-Dominique Delgue SCJ.
The Council also celebrated the Eucharist with the elderly and sick brothers and concluded its work on Friday afternoon, 4 May, with a visit to the Sanctuary of Lourdes to entrust the future of the Vicariates of the Region to the Virgin Mary.
