Nagaon Zone Catholic Youth Meet 2024 (Archdiocese of Guwahati)
The Nagaon Zone Catholic Youth Gathering was held on 17th of March 2024 in St Joseph's Parish, Hojai animated by DEXCO’s of Guwahati Archdiocese. The main aim of this Youth meeting was to make them more active in the participation of the Church activities and the awareness of their role in the Church and the society and also to have Local election.
The meeting was a successful one. There were around 90 participants from different parishes . From St. Joseph's Parish, Hojai there were 15 youth and from Betharram Sacred Heart Parish, Simaluguri there were 36 youth participated in the Youth meeting.
For our good news, the President and General Secretary were elected from Hojai Parish and Vice President and Cultural Secretary from Betharram Sacred Heart Parish, Simaluguri .
After the meeting, there was a Holy Mass celebrated and the main celebrant was Fr. Sathish Paul Raj Scj.
The meal was served for all and it was taken care of by the Hojai community.
The participants were really happy and expressed their appreciation to all who made the day - a day of remembrance.
