Lent retreat in the formation house of Adiapodoumé
The season of Lent is a perfect opportunity to return to the Lord with all your heart. Therefore this liturgical season suggests preparing moments of retreat and silence to learn again how to listen to the voice of God.
Keeping this need in mind, the religious and postulants of the Betharramite community of Adiapodoumé held their Lenten retreat from Friday 1 March to Saturday 2 March.
The retreat, which began on the evening of Friday 1st March with a time of silence, was followed by a meditation given by Fr. Christian Yao scj on the theme: "Religious life: a long journey to self-discovery and conversion". This time of intimacy with God was also marked by the Compline prayer on Friday evening, by the Rosary and by Lauds which marked the conclusion of the retreat on Saturday morning.
