Feast of Saint Michael in Asunción (Paraguay)
On Tuesday 14 May, the "FVD" Group of Asunción (Paraguay) celebrated the feast of Saint Michael Garicoïts, and they did so first by participating in the Eucharistic Table at the San José Parish, then with a simple dinner of fraternal sharing in the spaces of the College.
Mgr. Ignacio Gogorza SCJ, Betharramite Bishop emeritus of Encarnación, presided over the Holy Mass, which was concelebrated together with the other priests of the community: Mgr. Claudio Silvero SCJ, Fr. Osvaldo Caniza SCJ (parish priest), Fr. Milciades Ortigoza SCJ. Also present at the altar was Br. Sixto Benítez SCJ, Superior of the San José Community.
Our Lord of Betharram, Saint Joseph and Saint Michael Garicoïts intercede for all of us, so that we can continue to strengthen the bonds of esteem and friendship between the Betharramite religious and the lay people who feel identified with this charism that God has given to the Church through the saint of '"Here I am".
