Diamond Jubilee of Fr Alberto Pensa SCJ
On Sunday, January 26, Fr. Alberto Pensa celebrated his 60th anniversary of priestly ordination in Lierna, his hometown, at the parish church of St. Ambrose.
During a solemn celebration, the parishioners, led by the Parish Priest, Don Marco, thanked Fr. Alberto for his missionary work and together with him, they thanked the Lord for the 60 years of priesthood, 52 of which were spent as a missionary in Thailand. Fr Alberto’s, Sister Claudia, was also present, celebrating her 60 years of consecrated life alongside her brother. Representing the Betharramite confreres was Fr. Enrico Frigerio, regional vicar for Italy.
After spending a period of rest in Lierna, Fr. Alberto has departed for the mission in Ban Pong, Thailand. Let us accompany him with our prayers.
