A day full of grace
For the parishioners of St. Joseph's Church in Adigundanahally, September 9 was a day full of grace, as we celebrated the feast of the Nativity of Mary, Mother of Jesus and of the Church.
The solemn celebration was presided over by Fr. Vincent Pereira of the diocese of Gulbarga in the presence of Fr. Wilfred Pereppadan SCJ, Regional Superior, who blessed the newly built adoration chapel.
Fr. Vijay Jude Daniel SCJ, parish priest of St. Anthony's Parish in Yadavanahalli and Superior of the Adigundanahally-Yadavanahalli community participated in the event too. About 500 people attended the ceremony.
We took the opportunity to extend our congratulations to Fr. Biju Paul Alappat scj, on his 25th anniversary of priesthood.
The celebration concluded with a convivial time.
