Sponsored Walk for Missions - Supporting a Good Cause
On Saturday, September 23, 2023, the SCJ English Vicariate, in collaboration with the laity, participated in a sponsored walk to raise funds for missions. The event took place in Droitwich, where participants gathered at Church-fields farm to embark on a scenic journey along the Worcester-Droitwich canal and through the fields.
This event was a wonderful opportunity for the SCJ community and parishioners to come together in support of a noble cause. Father George Mathew and Brother Patrick Leighton of Droitwich SCJ community and parishioners led the walk, ensuring it was well-organized and enjoyable for everyone involved.
The day concluded with a delightful picnic held at the Church field car park. It was a time for participants to bond, have fun, and, most importantly, make a positive impact by contributing to missions.
