For their second year of novitiate, Br. François and Br. Bourgeois had been sent to the Vicariate of Italy, the first in the community of Albavilla and the second in the Parish of Lissone. After studying the Italian language, the two novices immersed themselves in the mission of the two communities and learned in the field the lifestyle and mission of Betharram in Italy.

Last Sunday celebration was therefore an important point of arrival in their journey of formation. At the 11.00 am Mass in Lissone there were about ten brothers from various communities of the Vicariate, some relatives of the novices who live in Europe, the youth of the Parish of Lissone and some representatives of the young Betharramite laity, as well as friends and faithful who wanted to share the joy of the two new professed religious. The celebration was very joyful and well animated. This joy was shared during the fraternal lunch that took place in the youth club premises of the parish and was attended by many young people.

The two novices will now return to the community of Adiapodoumé to continue their theological studies…

For the Vicariate of Italy we hope this is just a goodbye!
